Today was Sandie’s 10km trail run!

The event she registered for ~a year ago, before we had even moved to Quebec. Noah participated in the 300m kids event, but was overwhelmed by the number of people and the whole production surrounding the event. I carried him about 295m of the way, and he ran through the finish line to collect his medal, his smile returning.

Sandie’s heat started almost two hours later, so we chilled while the kids played and ate snacks. Then she was off, and in less than 90 minutes made her way around what Strava said was actually 12.6km of forested trail.
